Hand Signalling – Level 1 & Level 2

This is a general qualification for a person to be qualified and employed as a Hand Signaller. The Handsignaller Level 1 training course is about protecting worksites located on the network and the Level 2 training course is about conducting hand signalling duties at level crossings and at fixed signals.

The units delivered are:

  • TLIF2081 Perform lookout duties

  • TLIF2082 Perform handsignaller duties

  • TLIC2081 Pilot rail traffic within work on track authority limits

  • TLIW2001 Operate Under track protection rules

  • TLIW2037 Clip and secure points

  • TLIW2097 Use audible track warning devices
