Urban Rail Safety was established in 2014 to deliver 1st class Rail Access Training, Rail Safety Training, RISI and RIW Training in the Rail and Infrastructure sector.  URS is a company of rail industry Professional Trainers and Assessors that are backed by 60 years combined rail experience. Urban Rail Safety’s offering ranges from the delivery and assessment of RSW (Rail Safety Worker) and RIW (Rail Industry Worker) Qualifications to Hand Signaling, Worksite Protection, Track Vehicle and Track Machine Operators, Safe Working and Track Certification which is paramount in the rail industry.

The Urban Rail Safety training facility is in the same location as the Work Recover Medical Centre so students can undergo medical assessment as well as get trained and assessed on the same day at the same location.

Our well equipped trainers have a wealth of relevant experience in the Rail Sector:

Harry Ibrahim comes with 20 years Rail experience who is well known for his extensive knowledge in the delivery of rail training and assessment ranging from (RSW) Rail Safety Worker to (TO) Traffic Officer, (TMO) Track Machine Operator, (TVO) Track Vehicle Operator as well as (HSA1&2) Handsignaler and (WPO) Worksite Protection Officer.

Jim Joveski comes with 40 years Rail experience in various fields of Rail disciplines from the delivery of Major Projects to WHS&E Manager to training and assessment in (RSW) Rail Safety Worker as well (HSA1&2) Handsignaler and (WPO) Worksite Protection Officer for the Rail sector.
