The Safe working Level 1 training course is about managing track vehicle movements on the ARTC Defined Rail Network in NSW.
This course contains 7 core units of competency which must be completed by all students that wish to work as Safe working officer Level1, these are as follow:
- TLIC0084 Access rail track to travel track vehicles under manual block working
- TLIF3058 Apply safe working rules and regulations to rail functions
- TLIF2081 Perform lookout duties
- TLIF2097 Use audible track warning devices
- TLIW3026 Operate stand-alone signaling-points equipment
- TLIW2037 Clip and secure points
- TLIC2078 Identify and respond to signals and trackside signs
